Maleic Resin (Maleic Rosin Ester) is a light yellow,irregular tran***rent solid, which is made from gum rosin and maleic adhydride through the eaterification by Glycerol or pentaerythritol. The resin is well co***tible with nitrocellulose and alkyd resin, which enhance the hardness, adhesiveness, drying time, good gloss.
Soluble in aliphatic, aromatic and chlorinated hydrocarbons,ketones,and esters, insoluble in alcohols, glycols and water.
